CCH/Foundation provides programs and financial support to serve the citizens of Churchill County and surrounding regions, helping connect community, hospital, donors and resources to build strong and resilient healthcare in the region.

CCH/Foundation has provided funds for purchases benefiting patients and patient care. Recent donations have been made for blanket warmers for patient comfort and towards a new ambulance for EMS.

Funds are also provided to help patients in immediate need of assistance at discharge from the hospital by providing aid not available elsewhere. Transportation home from the hospital and to follow-up medical care are the most common way these funds are used. Rural patients often struggle with finding the means and funding to get home, which is often many miles away. Funding has provided transportation not only to Churchill County residents, but has supported needs of residents of many other surrounding counties who come to Churchill County for medical care.
